From the behind the lodge, Caol Gleann enjoys views to Ben Lomond – the area’s majestic and highest mountain. Loch Lomond, the lochside, beaches and jetty are just yards from the front of the lodge. The Lodge is within the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park, and there is a ranger station nearby.
The well-appointed chalet is the perfect base for all outdoor activities ranging from watersports and boating to hillwalking, climbing and mountain biking. Pets are welcome.
Caol Gleann has three bedrooms – a kingsize double, a twin room, and a bunk bed room to accommodate up to six people. Each bedroom includes closet space and reading lights. The kingsize room has a wall mounted TV. The lodge’s modern bathroom boasts bath, shower and mirrored vanity unit.
Comfortable duvets, pillows, linen and towels are included.
The Rowardennan Hotel just a couple of minutes walk away offers a bar, restaurant and other facilities.
