6 miles north from the waterside village of Balmaha, Rowardennan is on the east shores of Loch Lomond. The private site on which the log cabins sit is right on the lochside. This is the quieter side of Loch Lomond in that the road is not a major route north and ends at the car park a few hundred metres along and is famous for the West Highland Way taking walkers north adn south beneath Ben Lomond nearby.
At the southern end of the Scottish Highlands, Loch Lomond is certainly one of the world's, and Scotland's, most stunning and internationally renowned locations. The United Kingdom's largest expanse of fresh water is now part of Scotland's first National Park - an area where for centuries visitors have travelled to, taken in spectacular scenery, sail, walk and climb - and simply breathe fresh air.
There are 38 lodges on the estate and all are privately owned. This web site represents just a few which are let out for self catering by their owners. All of the lodges that are rented are also used by their owners for their own breaks and holidays from time to time.
Please note that it is not possible to arrive at the site and just book to stay - please contact the individual owners to enquire.
